Who is Lauren and why should
you come and hang out with her
to talk about hair?!
Lauren Cooper has 17 years in the hair game, with some stories to tell! A born and breed Adelaidian, she spent 15 years working in some of the city’s top salons before opening ETCHER SALON in 2020. With what some might say is a hair obsession, she has managed to score herself some pretty big awards winning, AHFA SA/TAS Hairdresser of the year in 2021 and AHFA Australian Creative Colourist of the year in 2022. The only thing she loves more than doing hair, is talking to other people about doing hair!
Lauren has spend the last 3 years travelling around Australia and internationally as part of the EVO education team, teaching classes and connecting with the hair community far and wide, as well filming an online workshop for of the covenanted Secret Fox Hair Education platform. Her education style is smart fundamental techniques that you will be able to use on a daily basis on a busy day behind the chair.

Have Lauren come to your salon, and spend the whole day showing your team her patented
techniques to achieving jaw dropping colours and cuts. Don’t be fooled, this is an extremely interactive day, where guests are encouraged to ask any questions and get up close and personal with Lauren and her models. From Balayage to coppers, trending blondes, shag cuts and modern bobs, this day can be tailored to suit your salons specific needs, and is perfect for any group size.

The Hands On Workshop is the best of both worlds, a Look and Learn session in the morning, and a chance to get your hand dirty in the afternoon with your own models.
Each guest will bring their own model in for the afternoon, and with the guidance of Lauren, be able to replicate the techniques they have learnt in the morning. This workshop can also be tailored to suit your salons needs.
All products used by the guests on the day will be supplied by Lauren.
1 Model Look and Learn | 1 model Hands on (per person)
Minimum group size 5. Maximum group size 12, depending on your salons size and facilities.
- Full day shadowing
Develop and sharpen your skills further with our full day shadowing program. Spend the day with Lauren as she mentors you through a typical day at Etcher. Learn from Lauren, one on one, as you take part in her clients’ hair journey. Balayage, coppers, shags, and bobs. You’ll never know what client you’ll get next! This day can be as hands on as you like.

Is your salon not big enough to host a workshop? Want to get the team out of the salon for the day? Why not have your private workshop at Etcher! Our huge warehouse space is just begging to host you and your team for either a Full day Look and Learn, or a Hands On workshop. And guess what, we’ll even supply Lunch and drinks!
2 Model Look and Learn | Hands On (1 Model look and learn + 1 model hands on)
Guest will need to arrange their own model for the afternoon hands on session, and bring their own scissors and hot tools etc.
Minimum group size 5. Maximum group size for Look and learn is 50.
Maximum group size for Hands on is 8.
